Amy
This is where Northern Roots was born; Amy is the NORTHERNER from Lancashire, England.

She is passionate about giving her clients the time out they deserve, since opening in the middle of covid she has put her focus on making sure her clients feel comfortable & relaxed in the salon. BUT hair is her game and she thrives at challenges. Whether it be a colour correction, seamless blends of her lived-in blondes, or a BIG CHOP!

If Amy is not in the salon or hanging out with her hubby & pooch...Amy is shamelessly reading anything full of adventure, fantasy, and romance or she is playing The Sims 4.
Blayde
Meet our new Canadian gem!
Blayde has Roots in legacy that date back to 1966, Blayde brings a passion for freehand hair colouring as well as creating that perfect lived in blonde. Not just a blonde specialist but a creative colorist especially embracing the beauty of a stunning copper hue.
FUN FACTS
Beyond the salon, you’ll catch him at the water’s edge indulging in the thrill of freediving, riding the waves, and capturing moments through the lens of video and photography. Let the hair adventures begin!

Freddie
Meet our resident Bordoodle aka Amy's Fur-Baby.
This loveable ball of fluff enjoys greeting all the clients as they walk into salon. He's also known for being a BIG Softie so don't be surprised if he comes in for a little cuddle during your service.
